The USTA and the ITA have announced the players chosen for the 2008 USTA Summer Collegiate Team. The USTA Summer Collegiate Team is an elite training program for the top American collegiate tennis players that began in 1996 and is funded by the USTA. It is designed to provide players with valuable exposure to the USTA Pro Circuit in a team-oriented environment during the summer months. This year's team will be playing in USTA Pro Circuit events primarily during the month of July. The women will be led by UCLA Assistant Head Coach Rance Brown and Assistant Director of Men's Tennis at Baylor Kyle Spencer will coach the men. The players on the team are:
