Fans of select models in the Wilson Blade and Burn franchises have another reason to add to their racquet collections. Playing up the boldness of the coloring, the manufacturer has flipped the cosmetics on several of the frames in the lines. While each of the racquets maintain the same specs and technologies as the originals, the limited editions feature lime green on the Blades and the vibrant orange of the Burns as the primary colors, with black accents at the six and nine o’clock positions. Wilson players Kei Nishikori (Burn) and David Goffin (Blade) will be using the racquets on tour this summer.

There are currently two frames in each family offered with the unique design: The Blade 98L ($199) and 98 (18x20) CV ($219); and the Burn 100LS ($179) and 100 CV ($199). Two of the frames—Blade 98 (18x20) CV and Burn 100 CV—feature the vibration reducing Countervail technology. The Blade 98L and Burn 100LS are lighter racquets for players seeking greater maneuverability and easier power; the latter also possessing Wilson’s Spin Effect technology.

The racquets are currently available for pre-sale at tennis specialty retailers (online and in-store), and at the Wilson website
