With an updated look and feel, the Head Graphene 360 Extreme MP left a lasting impression on our playtesters. The addition of wider string spacing and Graphene 360 spin grommets gives this racquet an extremely spin-friendly response. It also features new Graphene 360 technology, which reinforces strategic locations in the hoop for added stability. Our playtesters found that the close-to-even balance and near-330 swingweight also contributed to the racquet's solid response. The high launch angle made hitting with depth easy, but some playtesters experienced issues with control when hitting flatter shots. Stability at net was impressive for an 11.2-ounce racquet, and the ability to drive through serves with ample pace and loads of spin made this racquet suitable for all playing styles. Our testers who were familiar with previous iterations found this update to be an improvement in feel and playability, and first-timers to the Extreme line were just as impressed with the racquet's performance. Overall, intermediate to advanced players looking for a racquet that can add spin and power to their game should be sure to check out this latest edition of the Extreme MP.
The Extreme MP provides extreme spin and power to the aggressive tournament player. It features the new Graphene 360 technology which provides greater stability and optimized energy transfer for more power, thus more ball speed, as well as a 16/19 string pattern that makes this one the ultimate spin machine. Its spin grommets enable more string movement that results in a powerful trampoline effect upon ball impact. The entire Extreme silo got an extreme new design with an asymmetrical color-blocking of neon yellow and deep blue, reflecting the new design identity.
