There’s great news for fans of the Prince NFS (Natural Foot Shape): A new version is back after a year’s absence from the Prince line. The Cobra is two ounces lighter than the previous NFS incarnation, the Viper, and it’s about a quarter-inch lower to the ground for better ankle-roll protection. Prince also uses light mesh in the upper to bring the weight down. The Cobra is a little less stable than the Viper, but men can compensate for that by opting for the added protection of the mid-cut version (shown here), which isn’t available in women’s. The Cobra also has a roomy toe box and narrow heel, which is especially well suited to a woman’s foot. The kicker is that the shoe comes with a six-month outsole guarantee.
