Multi-Platform Editorial Team Leaders
Scott Gramling, Managing Editor
Over the span of 17 years in magazine publishing, Scott Gramling has proven his ability to communicate and connect with readers. He succeeded at turning his sports obsession into his profession by coming up with several special newsstand publications as an associate editor at Sports Illustrated For Kids, where he also co-authored a biography on Ken Griffey Jr. He would later become an original member of the editorial team that launched FHM in the U.S., and he was named Editor-in-Chief less than three years later—under Gramling’s direction FHM would raise its total audience by 56 percent to nearly 6 million readers. One of the co-founders of media company 10Ten Media, Gramling joined the Tennis team as Managing Editor in 2010.
Ian Knowles, Creative Director
Bringing a sharp, consumer-friendly eye to design, Ian Knowles has wracked up more than a decade of experience overseeing prominent national magazine brands in both the United States and Europe. Born and raised in Northern England, he began his career designing the U.K. women’s consumer magazines Elle and More! Knowles later took the creative reigns of Britain’s most popular men’s magazine, FHM, before moving stateside for a seven-year stint as the Creative Director of the U.S. edition of FHM. He spearheaded the redesign of the Italian edition of Vanity Fair and also served as the Creative Director for the launch of Italian Condé Nast Traveler before joining the Tennis team in the role of Creative Director.
