YESTERDAY (July 15)

Philadelphia Freedoms d. San Diego Aviators 19-18
The Philadelphia Freedoms capped off their home opener with a bang as they defeated the San Diego Aviators in dramatic fashion. Down 10-4, the Freedoms reeled off three straight sets to pull off the comeback. Victoria Azarenka was a key contributor for the Freedoms, as she won in women’s singles before partnering Marcelo Melo to victory in mixed doubles. This marks the Freedoms first win over the Aviators.

Boston Lobsters d. Austin Aces 20-18 (OT)
It was a memorable night for the Boston Lobsters, as head coach Robert Greene picked up his first win in a deserving manner. The Lobsters jumped out to an early 10-0 lead, but the Austin Aces fought back, eventually forcing Overtime and pulling within one game of reaching a Supertiebreaker before the Lobsters closed it out.

Texas Wild d. Springfield Lasers 22-13
The Texas Wild pulled away from the Springfield Lasers after halftime to secure their second win over the defending Western Conference champions. With the win, the Wild moved into a tie for first place in the Western Conference with the San Diego Aviators. The Wild are hoping to make their second straight playoff appearance this season. 

TODAY (July 16)

Live Stream of the Day - Texas Wild @ Washington Kastles 7:00 PM EDT
After a day off, the Washington Kastles host the Texas Wild in their first match since losing to the San Diego Aviators on Monday. In this matchup, the Kastles welcome seven-time Grand Slam singles champion Venus Williams and five-time Grand Slam singles champion Martina Hingis, who are expected to play women’s doubles together. Williams is making her return to the Kastles for the first time since the 2012 season, when she clinched the team’s third Mylan WTT title.

The Wild come in hungry, as they look to rebound from their earlier season. Be sure to look out for competitive play in the doubles competition, as the Kastles currently lead in both the women’s and mixed doubles and the Wild top the men’s doubles league leaders.

Springfield Lasers @ Philadelphia Freedoms 7:00 PM EDT
The Springfield Lasers and Philadelphia Freedoms face off for the first time since opening day, where the Freedoms edged the Lasers 21-20 in a Supertiebreaker. The Freedoms are coming off an impressive victory over the San Diego Aviators, where they erased a 10-4 deficit to win 19-18 last night.

San Diego Aviators @ Boston Lobsters 7:00 PM EDT
After coming off their first victory this season, the Boston welcome the San Diego Aviators, who look to bounce back from a narrow defeat to the Philadelphia Freedoms last night. In their first meeting, the Aviators edged the Lobsters 21-19 in Overtime.

TOMORROW (July 17)

Venus Williams will make her second appearance for the Washington Kastles, who visit the Philadelphia Freedoms on Thursday. The Freedoms will aim to defeat the Kastles for the first time in three attempts this season.

The Austin Aces and Texas Wild will face off for the first time in league history. Both teams will look make the early statement in this new interstate rivalry. This matchup will be the first of three meetings.

San Diego Aviators @ Springfield Lasers 9:00 PM EDT
The San Diego Aviators will visit the Springfield Lasers in an exciting matchup, as the road to the King Trophy heats up in the Western Conference. The Aviators and Lasers have never met before.
