June is an exciting time in the tennis world, with Wimbledon beginning a mere two weeks after the French Open finals. Usually that’s enough to excite the average fan, but this year tucked neatly in between is the launch of the new-and-improved TENNIS.com! We hope you enjoy it.

On Thursday, June 15th, we have the pleasure of launching a new TENNIS.com. With headline news,
exclusive online features, staff columns and blogs, video and article instruction, TENNIS gear reviews, live scores, statistics, message boards, sports psychology, and much more, the new TENNIS.com will be the most comprehensive tennis site on the web.
French Finale
The second week of Roland Garros is shaping up to be a memorable one. On the men’s side of the draw there is a good mix of top seeds and the usual surprises the clay provides. The women’s side of the draw looked to be holding form, but on Sunday that all changed as Amelie Mauresmo and Maria Sharapova were upset. However, many of the favorites coming into the tournament are still alive.
The Championships
Wimbledon begins on June 26th and on Day 1 there are a few questions that will be on everyone’s minds:
1) Does anyone other than Federer have a chance of winning the men’s title?
2) Who on earth is going to win the women’s title?
3) After skipping the grueling clay-court season, how will Andre Agassi and Lindsay Davenport perform at the All England Club?
Grass Stains
Before the champions can be crowned on the grass at Wimbledon, there are a few grass tournaments to be played. Andy Roddick has had a difficult year, but he looks to regain form as he defends his title at Queen’s Club. Other stops before Wimbledon are Eastbourne and Birmingham.
