Wednesday Racket (OT)

Here's a handy tip for those of you who are attending this year's Pacific Life Open -- on your way into the grounds, stop off at the Pure and Simple tent, located on the southwest side of the main stadium, and get a free sunscreen spraydown.

Pureandsimplemtns3smPure and Simple is a skincare company, based out of Rancho Mirage. They offer a comprehensive line of excellent products, ranging from collagen-based eye serums and hand/foot lotions to powerful sunscreens.

The other day, the Pure and Simple folks were kind enough to save me from broiling like a 180lb lobster in the exceedingly strong sun of Indian Wells. Due to using their sunscreen, I didn't burn nor tan  -- and I spent a good three hours loitering around the practice courts, where there is no shade to be found.

Also, should anyone walking around feel ill or develop any common tennis-watching malady (such as blisters or heat sickness), feel free to stop by one of the conveniently located First Aid stations dotted around the grounds. They'll have you fixed up in a jiffy.
