Venus not considering retirement after Open loss
Venus Williams, who turned 30 earlier this summer, says she is not considering retirement after a disappointing three-set loss to Kim Clijsters at the U.S. Open.
"I definitely feel like I'll be back next year," said Williams. "This is what I do, and I feel like I played great tennis even with minimal preparation."
Williams had been off the tour since Wimbledon with a knee problem.
