Oudin wins USTA Roland Garros wild card

American Melanie Oudin, who suffered 13 first-round losses in 2011 and five straight at the start of 2012, wins the USTA Roland Garros wild card by grabbing the most points in two out of the last three USTA Challengers. The 2009 U.S. Open quarterfinalist won the Boyd Tinsley Challenger the week before last, and has pushed her ranking up from No. 370 to No. 275. Brian Baker won the men's wild card.
