Serena still jet-lagged, watching TV 'til 6 am
Six days after winning her fifth Wimbledon title, Serena Williams is still jet-lagged, and has woken up in the wee hours every evening since last Saturday while in Northern California playing the Bank of the West Classic.
She woke up at 1 AM on Friday morning and stayed awake until 6 AM watching the final season of the TV show "Desperate Housewives."
"I was hoping to fall back asleep but I didn’t," she said. "I was crying as always. I love that show. I was wide wake as if I was in Europe still."
