Murray out of Toronto with knee injury
Andy Murray has pulled out of the Rogers Cup in Toronto with a left knee injury. The Olympic gold medalist was scheduled to face Canadian Milos Raonic in Toronto tonight. Murray, who contested two Olympic gold-medal matches last Sunday in London, had his knee treated in his first-round victory over Flavio Cipolla in Toronto on Wednesday.
Murray, who swept Roger Federer to win the gold medal in a rematch of last month's Wimbledon final, said that he will attempt to play next week's tournament in Cincinnati. Raonic received a walkover into his first ATP masters quarterfinal.
