The Spanish media is reporting that Toni Nadal, the coach and uncle of world No. 3 Rafael Nadal, says his nephew will return to play on December 28, presumably at the Abu Dhabi exhibition. There was hope that Rafa might try and return to play the Davis Cup final against the Czech Republic, which begins in 12 days, but as of last week, the 11-time Grand Slam champion had not yet begun to practice.
