Kei Nishikori, the 16th seed at the Australian Open, says that his injured knee is at 90 percent, but that he should be OK for his first-round match against Victor Hanescu on Monday. Japan’s top player is defending quarterfinal points from 2012.

“It’s going to be pressure for sure from first round,” he said. “But I’m getting a lot of confidence getting through last year and won Japan Open, beating a lot of Top 10 players. So hopefully I can go play my best tennis and get a good result.”
