Maria Sharapova balked a bit but hardly denied dating Grigor Dimitrov when playfully accosted by Chris Fowler on ESPN2's coverage of the Australian Open. Indeed, it has been reported, and "Sugarpova" gave tennis relationship talkers every reason to think it's on between her and the young Bulgarian, who flamed out earlier than many expected after his Brisbane-finalist showing the week before. Her exchange with Fowler and Chris Evert here, short and sweet and silly:

Best line of the exchange: Chris Evert's "Why not? It's ESPN. Come on!" Even so, Sharapova is always on point with her public relations, and she directly divulges nothing despite the persistent prodding from both Chrises.

Are you a fan of the possible Sharapova-Dimitrov merger? Maybe Maria can teach her younger companion a thing or two about having a steely mental side to the game.
