Venus Williams and sister Serena Williams shill for Apple in a brand-new advertisement pitting them against a formless opponent voiced by a male, from whose vantage point we see the clip, and from whose mind we witness this "dream," that being his defeat of this all-time tandem in doubles Ping-Pong play. So amusing how Venus ever-so-slightly bulges her eyes at the start of it, and both Williamses perform gamely in the spot, which comes with soundtracking courtesy of Rob Simonsen's "Falcon Hero" track. Their reactions at the end of the intense table action are, thankfully, not how they responded to their most recent Grand Slam defeat, that at the racquets of Maria Kirilenko and Nadia Petrova. Added humor comes by way of the fact that, on the day this commercial came out, January 1 of 2013, scads of iPhone users reported dysfunction with iPhone 5's "Do Not Disturb" feature. Crappy new year!
