Bellucci saddened by crowd reaction in Brazil

Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci tells Break Point Brazil that he felt “sad” while leaving the court to a loud chorus of boos after his second-round loss to Filipo Volandri in Sao Paolo.

The website says the world No. 35 has been booed for three consecutive years in his home tournament, and speculated that the reason is because he’s shy, and not as interactive with the crowds as former Brazilian great Guga Kuerten was, let alone as successful.
