By losing to Tommy Haas in the fourth round of Miami, world No. 1 Novak Djokovic failed to reach the finals of at least one of the March Masters hard-court tournaments for the first time since 2010. Juan Martin del Potro also upset Djokovic in the semifinals of Indian Wells.
The Serbian gave credit to Haas and conceded that the German was the better player but added: “As far as I’m concerned, it’s definitely the worst match I have played in a long time… I just didn’t feel good on the court.”
