World No. 7 Sara Errani tell reporters in Stuttgart that she believes she has done a good job defending her break-through 2012 season. Errani won four titles, reached the French Open final, the U.S. Open semifinals and registered her first Top 10 year-end finish last season.

“For the moment, I’m dealing with the increased pressure quite well,” she said. "For sure the pressure is greater especially as I have my ranking to defend. I had some good results last year but I don’t want to think about last year — only about how I’m playing on court this year. At the moment it’s going quite well.”
