Argentine Davis Cup captain Martin Jaite says that France is the favorite in its upcoming Davis Cup quarterfinal against Argentina on outdoor clay in Buenos Aires.

Argentina is without top singles player Juan Martin del Potro and have slated the slumping Juan Monaco and Carlos Berlocq to play singles. David Nalbandian and Horacio Zeballos are expected to play doubles.

France is expected to play Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Richard Gasquet in singles, with Julien Benneteau and Michael Llodra partnering in doubles.

"They are favorites, but Davis [Cup] always brings surprises,” Jaite told reporters. “We are a very good team, we play at home and we are well and looking forward to it. We feel we can win it because we are working toward it. The group is very good and united.”
