Germany's don't-call-it-the-twilight tennis champ, Tommy Haas, met the much-ballyhooed "space jumper," Felix Baumgartner, whilst in Monte Carlo last weekend. Haas also took in the final match between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, which the world No. 1 from Serbia won 6-2, 7-6 (1). But the 35-years-young Haas, no doubt already looking forward to the grass-court season beyond the ongoing clay-court lineup, was himself pressing flesh with something short of an accomplished astronaut:

"Thinking about the space-jump!" said Haas his Facebook post about the meeting.

Still don't know who Baumgartner is? For those who have lived under a proverbial rock since last autumn ...
