James Blake tells the *Albany Times Union* that he’s made a tennis fan out of his wife, Emily Snider.

"Five years ago she didn't know the first thing about tennis and now she's taking lessons and says, 'It looked so easy when you were doing it. Now I see it's pretty tough what you're doing out there,' " Blake said. "That hopefully has created a fan."

Blake was in Albany playing a World TeamTennis match for the New York Sportimes. Informed of Blake's comments, Sportimes owner Claude Okin joked: "If the most effective way to make them fans is for you to marry them, it's going to be a slow process."
