Mladenovic hires Djokovic’s old hitting partner as coach

Kristina Mladenovic has hired Dusan Vemic, Novak Djokovic’s former hitting partner, as her new coach. Currently ranked No. 50, Mladenovic will start working with Vemic next week in Tokyo.

The 20-year-old Frenchwoman won the 2013 Wimbledon mixed doubles title with Daniel Nestor. Both Mladenovic and Vemic have Serbian roots.
