Roger Federer has been hitting with former No. 1 Stefan Edberg at his home base in Dubai.

Federer has been without a second coach since he parted ways with American Paul Annacone in October. He is still working with Swiss Davis Cup captain Severin Luthi.

It is unclear whether Federer will bring on another coach. Hall of Famer Edberg has never coached at the pro level.
