Nadal withdraws from Buenos Aires with stomach virus

The world No. 1 is next scheduled to play the Rio Open in mid-Feb

World No. 1 Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from next week's clay-court tournament in Buenos Aires, citing a stomach virus, which will prevent him from practicing the next few days. Nadal suffered a back injury during the Australian Open final, but said that injury is healing.

The 13-time Grand Slam champion is scheduled to play the Rio Open in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, February 17-23.
