Chakvetadze to assist Russian Fed Cup team

Anna Chakvetadze has joined the staff of the Russian Fed Cup team. The former world No. 5 will assist in coaching the team during its upcoming World Group Playoff tie against Argentina.

Russian tennis chief Shamil Tarpischev said Chakvetadze would gain experience that may eventually allow her to become the coach of the team.
