Samantha Stosur is no longer working with Miles Maclagan.

The Australian world No. 17 decided to stop with her coach just prior to Wimbledon, but said there was no particular reason for the timing.

"Nothing major happened, there was no fight or anything like that," Stosur said."It was very amicable. I'm sure I will see him this week and it'll all be fine. But at the end of the day, I feel like I needed to change things and made that decision."

Stosur, who has struggled to string wins together on surfaces other than clay, said she felt a change was necessary.

"It's no secret my results this year have not been great," she said."I'm not saying that's his fault but I did feel like I wanted to make a change."

The 2011 U.S. Open champion said she did not plan to take on anyone else for a while, preferring to "work things out myself."

She has not won a title since triumphing in Osaka nine months ago, but reached the fourth round of the French Open despite suffering a leg injury in a training accident just before the tournament.
