Nick Kyrgios' Brother Decries 'Haters' in Facebook Rant

Rising Australian star Nick Kyrgios, just 19 years young, topped Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon this year in a match that forced the tennis world to take notice of his flashy, budding talent.

Team Kyrgios was hardly done, though, and that's evidenced again in Nick's older brother Christos' Facebook post earlier this month, which called out "all the media, 'analysts', 'experts' and other fkheads" who might criticize the ascent of Kyrgios the Younger. You can read the full post here:

Perhaps Christos was responding, in part, to tweaks Denis Istomin made about his kin. Istomin, upon losing to Kyrgios in a Davis Cup match in Australia this month, said, "He has a big future like I see it but I think maybe he can be a bit more mentally strong because sometimes he can go up and down. I felt that when I played him today. In some games, I had chances to break him, and if I was a little bit healthier, maybe I take those chances."

Not exactly stark criticism, and likely not what catalyzed the elder Krygios brother's angst, but suffice it to say that this family, in an era of gentlemanly conduct, makes the ATP World Tour (also known as "a game filled with zombies and stiffs") more interesting.
