The victorious Davis Cup team from Switerland was greeted by a crowd of 10,000 upon arriving back in Lausanne following their win against France.

Roger Federer, Stanislas Wawrinka, and the other members of the team received a big welcome at the official reception, addressing the crowd and talking to media. "These 24 hours might be the wildest of my career," said Federer.

The team arrived following an official dinner in Lille and much partying on the night of the victory, with Wawrinka also reportedly having a heated exchange with the French team during the dinner about some of his comments during that day's press conference.

The final was also a big event in France, with 14 million watching the tie on television during the three days, including a high of three million tuning in during the doubles. Attendance twice broke the record for an official match, with 27,432 spectators on the first day and 27,488 during the third day.
