Andy Murray commends 19-year-old Nick Kyrgios for how he's played in his young career, and believe he's handling the pressure well at his home Slam. The Scot will play the Aussie on Tuesday night in the quarterfinals; they have played just once before, with Murray winning 6-2, 6-2 last year in Toronto.

"Maybe he's more confident than I would have been at that age," Murray said. "I didn't feel like I was going to win these events when I was that age, but I read that he felt like he could win the Australian Open this year a few weeks ago. So he obviously backs himself a lot. When you have the crowd behind you, obviously helps. Makes a difference. Especially if you're tired and a bit fatigued, the crowd can give you that extra lift and help, as well. He's obviously handled everything very well so far."

Former No. 1 Victoria Azarenka is also singing praises of her friend Kyrgios. "I think he has a lot of potential," Azarenka said. "I think he has a great hunger for success, and it's really refreshing to see somebody so young being so confident with themselves on the court. For Australia I think it's great to have such talent. I wish him all the best of luck. He did such an amazing job yesterday. Yeah, really proud."
