Alja Tomljanovic is no longer working with Australian coach David Taylor. The Croatian-turned-Australian, whose nationality change was prompted through her association with Taylor, told the *Herald Sun* that two ended their coaching partnership following the WTA event at Birmingham.

Tomljanovic said that during their year-and-a-half working together, Taylor "helped me a lot, just developing my game and to think about my patterns more in the match and to think more in general when things are not going well. That’s where he helped me. I’m still working on that. It’s nowhere near where it should be but at least I’ve got some idea of what I’m supposed to do out there."

Tomljanovic is being coached by her father once again.

Though she did not say why the two had split, the No. 81 insisted it was not because she was sharing the veteran coach with Samantha Stosur.

"I actually thought during the clay season I benefited from playing with Sam a lot," she said. "I actually thought my game was picking up. I had a couple of tough matches on the grass. It’s tough timing with the Slam coming up but I’m going the best of it."
