EASTBOURNE, England (AP) Eugenie Bouchard retired from her match with a stomach injury, while Caroline Wozniacki came from a set down to beat Svetlana Kuznetsova in the third round of the Wimbledon warm-up tournament at Eastbourne on Wednesday.

Bouchard, the runner-up at Wimbledon last year, was losing 6-4, 3-0 to Belinda Bencic of Switzerland when she quit because of an abdominal injury that had been troubling her since the first set and was affecting her serve.

The seventh-seeded Canadian said the injury would not stop her from lining up at the All England Club, where play begins Monday.

''I'm going to play no matter what, even if I'm on one leg,'' Bouchard said.

The player who beat Bouchard in last year's Wimbledon final, Petra Kvitova, pulled out on Monday because of illness before she had played a match. Kvitova was seeded No. 1 at Eastbourne.

The second-seeded Wozniacki beat Kuznetsova 6-7 (3), 6-3, 6-1 to set up a quarterfinal match against Germany's Andrea Petkovic, who defeated Coco Vandeweghe of the United States 6-3, 6-4.

Former Wimbledon finalist Agnieszka Radwanska beat Karolina Pliskova 6-2, 6-1, while other third-round winners were Tsvetana Pironkova of Bulgaria, Sloane Stephens of the United States, Daria Gavrilova of Russia and Johanna Konta of Britain.

Konta, who is competing on a wild card, beat No. 8-ranked Ekaterina Makarova on Tuesday and followed that up by eliminating 14th-seeded Garbine Muguruza 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 to set up a match against Bencic.
