Dominika Cibulkova, who has been sidelined since the beginning of February and underwent surgery on her heel in March, says it's likely she will play Wimbledon, and may also play a tune-up tournament in Eastbourne.

“This week I am really working hard. It is really tough, I have around five sessions per day. My] foot is doing fine, that's most important," Cibulkova said [on her website.

“It is hard to say, but we signed out of another tournament in Birmingham. I wanted two more weeks of full training in order to go to the tournament with good feelings, having two difficult weeks of practice and [my] leg [is] doing fine.”

The Slovakian reached the 2014 Australian Open final, but was hurt much of the second half of last year. The former WTA No. 10 is currently ranked No. 49, and began her comeback by training on surfaces other than grass.

“I started late on grass, because I have not played for two and a half months, and at first I wanted to get back the good feeling, rhythm and timing,” she said. “On grass it would be more difficult, as there are not so many rallies. I want to find my rhythm and then we will adapt to the grass courts.”
