NEW YORK (AP) James Blake has been added to the Mylan World Team Tennis lineup for its Smash Hits event with Billie Jean King and Elton John.
WTT announced its final teams Tuesday for the charity AIDS event, which will be held Oct. 12 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Blake will join Andre Agassi for doubles on Team Billie Jean and face Mardy Fish and Andy Roddick on Team Elton. Blake also will play singles against Roddick.
Lindsay Davenport and Martina Navratilova will play doubles against Steffi Graf and Tracy Austin. In mixed doubles, Agassi and Graf will take on Fish and Navratilova.
Blake recently received an apology from New York City Police Commissioner Bill Bratton after he was tackled in a case of mistaken identity outside his hotel before heading to the U.S. Open.
