Andy Murray said Roger Federer will look to take advantage of opportunities against Novak Djokovic when the two meet in the Australian Open semifinals.

The world No. 1, the Scot said, will need to respond when put under pressure.

Analyzing the match following his win over David Ferrer, Murray said, "Roger has obviously played very well so far at this event. He will obviously look to play aggressive."

Federer has dropped just one set in Melbourne, while Djokovic went five sets against Gilles Simon in the fourth round. The two are tied at 22 matches apiece in the head-to-head series, with Djokovic winning five of their eight encounters in 2015. Djokovic won their two Grand Slam meetings last year, including the Wimbledon and U.S. Open finals.

"Both went in playing very good tennis," Murray said of last year’s U.S. Open final. "Roger had chances in that match and didn't capitalize on the break points that he had. That was obviously one of the reasons why Novak won the match. He played very well under pressure. That'll be important again. Roger tends to put pressure on whoever it is he's playing against. Novak [in 2015] handled it extremely well."

The world No. 2 expects to see a high-quality barnburner.

“They always play very, very good tennis against each other,” Murray said.
