Life is good for Novak Djokovic—and that might be the early favorite for understatement of the year.

After an unbelievably successful 2015 season in which he set himself apart from the rest of the sport, the Serb is off to another great start in 2016. After dismantling Rafael Nadal, 6-1, 6-2, in the Qatar Open final earlier this month, Djokovic began his quest for a sixth Australian Open title with a first-round victory over Chung Hyeon in Melbourne on Monday.

Following the 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 straight-set win, the 28-year-old did an on-court interview in Rod Laver Arena.

As expected, he didn’t disappoint.

“Ever since I became a father, everything is going uphill on the tennis court,” the 10-time Grand Slam champion told Jim Courier. “Darling, I guess we’ve got to make more babies. What can I say? I’m going to probably get criticized for what I said.”

Djokovic’s comments elicited laughter from the crowd. The world No. 1 was of course referencing his wife, Jelena. The couple gave birth to Stefan—their first child—in October of 2014.

Since that period, Djokovic has won three of four Grand Slams. (He lost to Stanislas Wawrinka in the final of the French Open.) He’s the overwhelming favorite to win Down Under, and some have even predicted that he will outdo last season’s sensational campaign.
