Eugenie Bouchard is no longer being represented by WME-IMG, a company spokesperson told the *Sports Business Journal*.

Bouchard signed with the agency at the very end of 2014. At the time, multiple agencies were vying for her after her contract with Lagardère, her previous representative, came up for renewal following her breakthrough 2014 season.

But the 21-year-old Canadian's career slid the following year, as Bouchard reached only one quarterfinal in 2015 and experienced a concussion when she slipped and fell at the U.S. Open.

According to the Sports Business Journal, she had only signed with IMG through 2015, and the agency had been working for her with no contract in place since the beginning of the year. Bouchard has now formally left the agency.

Her play has improved this season, but she experienced an abdominal injury in Charleston earlier this month. Bouchard, who has been ranked as high as No. 5, is currently No. 46 in the world.
