THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) Nicolas Mahut won the Ricoh Open for the third time when he beat Gilles Muller 6-4, 6-4 in the rain-delayed final on Monday.

The eighth-seeded Frenchman won the first set on Sunday when rain halted the final, forcing organizers to continue on Monday.

Mahut gained another break of serve in the second and held to beat the seventh-seeded Muller from Luxembourg.

Mahut also won the grass-court tournament in 2013 and 2015. His other ATP title was also on grass, in Newport three years ago.
