WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) The first American man to reach a Grand Slam quarterfinal in five years will not be part of the U.S. team that will face Croatia in the Davis Cup quarterfinals this month.

Instead of Sam Querrey, who upset No. 1 Novak Djokovic en route to making the final eight at Wimbledon, the U.S. roster includes John Isner and Jack Sock in singles, and twins Bob and Mike Bryan in doubles.

The U.S. Tennis Association announced the team Tuesday.

The Croatian squad includes Marin Cilic - who like Querrey will participate in the Wimbledon quarterfinals on Wednesday - along with Borna Coric, Ivan Dodig and Marin Draganja.

The best-of-five series will be played in Portland, Oregon, from July 15-17.
