No longer with Goran Ivanisevic, Marin Cilic hires Jonas Bjorkman to be coach

Bjorkman said he would be joining the team next week in New York

Marin Cilic has announced that he has hired Jonas Bjorkman to be his new coach.

Cilic stopped working with Goran Ivanisevic a few weeks ago, with Ivanisevic since joining Tomas Berdych. Bjorkman coached Andy Murray in 2015.

"We'll be working on new challenges, and I hope a new successful period in my career," Cilic said in an official announcement.

Bjorkman said he would be joining the team next week in New York.

Cilic is playing this week's Masters event in Cincinnati.
