Sometimes the stars simply align. On Sunday evening in Montreal, ahead of jetting off to the Rio Olympics, Eugenie Bouchard enjoyed a concert put on by Celine Dion, her fellow Canadian.

Elena Vesnina and Ekaterina Makarova, who won the doubles title in Montreal, also relished the show, with the former shooting footage of Celine's aural-visual splendor. The set list included such hit songs as "I Drove All Night," "It's All Coming Back to Me Now," "The Power of Love" and (no shocker here) the eternally sappy "My Heart Will Go On."

The doubles titlists were awarded tickets by the Rogers Cup. Montreal singles champion Simona Halep told the WTA that she had previously seen Celine live in Las Vegas, and opted out of the extracurricular event.

As words go, Genie captured the evening best.
