Alexander Zverev and Nick Kyrgios survived huge servers on Monday to advance to the fourth round of the Miami Open.

Zverev, seeded 16th, won two of three tiebreakers against John Isner in a 6-7 (5), 7-6 (7), 7-6 (5) marathon that lasted just over two-and-a-half hours. The American came close to sealing it in the second, but the 19-year-old German saved three match points to force a decider. Zverev needed to pull off another magic act in the third-set tiebreaker. Trailing 4-1, he came back to steal it and book a spot in the Round of 16.

Next up for Zverev is top-seeded Stan Wawrinka.

Nick Kyrgios—not a bad server in his own right—also withstood a powerful foe in Ivo Karlovic, prevailing in a third-set tiebreaker to win, 6-4, 6-7 (4), 7-6 (2). The Australian, 17 years his opponent’s junior, will play eighth-seeded David Goffin on Tuesday.
