Tracy Austin: Simona Halep, Venus Williams, Angelique Kerber, Daria Gavrilova and Marketa Vondrousova (5th unseeded pick)

Jon Wertheim: Kristina Mladenovic, Garbina Muguruza, Caroline Wozniacki, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Ekaterina Makarova (5th unseeded pick)

Martina Navratilova: Svetlana Kuznetsova, Karolina Pliskova, Daria Kasatkina, Agnieszka Radwanska and Lucie Safarova (5th unseeded pick)
