PARIS—Agnieszka Radwanska, who was crushed by Alize Cornet in the third round at the French Open on Saturday, says that she is thrilled to be done with the clay.

Radwanska fell, 6-2, 6-1, to the Frenchwoman.

“I didn't feel good,” Radwanska said. “That was everything I could do today. It wasn't my day, and I didn't move well. Any time I was going back, it was a drop shot coming and all the wrong bounces. I wanted to play a bit faster, but … it was just wrong timing. And I'm just happy that the clay is over.”

The 28-year-old has won 20 titles, but she has never won a clay tournament.

Radwanska has had a difficult season since reaching the final in Sydney. She did not win back-to-back matches at the Australian Open, Indian Wells, Miami and Stuttgart, and then withdrew from Madrid and Rome with a foot injury. With her third-round loss in Paris, she hasn’t gotten past the fourth round at a major since the 2016 Australian Open.

The former world No. 2 is currently No. 10 in the rankings.
