Madison Keys wants to have a good Wimbledon, but she is also rooting for Petra Kvitova and says the Czech can actually win the tournament again.

The No.12-ranked Kvitova just won Birmingham, even though she just returned to the tour a month ago. A knife attack in December 2016 left her seriously hurt and she was unable to play until June.

The 22-year-old Keys watched the final in Birmingham, when Kvitova beat Ashleigh Barty in three sets.

“Every time I watch her play now, I’m like an emotional wreck and crying and everything,” Keys said. “I try not to watch too many of her matches. But it's an amazing, amazing comeback. I don't think there's a nicer person that all of us are cheering for. It's Petra ... Pretty much any time she's on grass you're like, 'Yeah, she could win.'”

Kvitova won Wimbledon in 2011 when she upset Maria Sharapova in the final, and in 2014 she easily beat Canadian Eugenie Bouchard to win her second title.

Keys said that the popular Czech also has a lot of determination, as her comeback has shown.

“I’m not really surprised,” Keys said. “She’s such a champion. I’m not really surprised. More, I'm really happy for her. I mean, who better to win it than Petra?"
