Svetlana Kuznetsova might not play the Australian Open following wrist surgery.

According to Russian newspaper Express, Kuznetsova had two procedures on the wrist and does not know when she will return.

The Russian previously said it was a minor problem that would keep her off the court for just a few weeks.

Kuznetsova is No. 11 in the rankings, and she was seemingly in great spirits when she did a Bag Check back in July.
