A first-time women's champion is guaranteed at the Miami Open with Sloane Stephens taking on Jelena Ostapenko on Saturday.

Stephens has proven to be basically unstoppable on American soil since winning the US Open last year. Though she's struggled to maintain that impeccable form, her positive attitude and hard work is paying off big-time in Miami. She's going to crack the Top 10 for the first time in her career when the new rankings come out on Monday.

The American will play Ostapenko for the first time ever in her first Premier Mandatory final. Stephens is 5-0 in WTA career finals, while Ostapenko is seeking her third title (after winning Roland Garros and Seoul last year). The Latvian has scored impressive wins this week over Petra Kvitova and Elena Svitolina, while Stephens has taken out the likes of Angelique Kerber, Garbine Muguruza and Victoria Azarenka.
