Daily Mix—CoCo Vandeweghe breaks down doubles in the desert

INDIAN WELLS, Calif.—The doubles draws are out at the BNP Paribas Open and they're stockpiled with singles talent from Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka to Sloane Stephens and Victoria Azarenka.

CoCo Vandeweghe would know a thing or two about the benefits of playing doubles. Though largely a singles player, she has won huge titles like Indian Wells (with Bethanie Mattek-Sands), Miami and the US Open (both with Ashleigh Barty).

She and Mattek-Sands are living the injured life at the same time, and will get to support each other through it.
