It’s been a memorable week for NFL star Ndamukong Suh, to say the least. Suh came to Paris to vacation with his girlfriend, Katya Leick, and will leave the City of Love with a fiancée.

Suh dropped to his knee and popped the question at five-star restaurant La Grande Maison in Bordeaux, France. The 32-year-old recently finalized a new one-year contract to become the centerpiece of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' defense.

The couple began their post-engagement life by watching some of the best tennis has to offer at Roland Garros on Monday: 11-time champion Rafael Nadal.

“He’s an amazing athlete, the change of direction, the ability to get from side to side of the court and hit those amazing shots… it seems to be easy for him,” Suh said, after watching Nadal dispatch former USC Trojan Yannick Hanfmann.

Although Suh is not a tennis player, after one look at Nadal, he seemed to have the Spaniard’s game figured out: “He makes the opponent work for every shot.”

Suh made sure to catch the King Of Clay, but his Philippe Chatrier tickets will also let him watch Serena Williams, a friend of Suh’s family.

“I am a huge fan of hers, she sent my mom a Mother’s Day gift… she’s been tremendous to my family,” revealed Suh.

After all, game respects game.
