Caroline Wozniacki has extended her coaching relationship with Francesca Schiavone, with the former French Open champion working with the Dane in Rome.

Wozniacki, coached by her father, Piotr, had added Schiavone for the green-clay event at Charleston. Schiavone was also at Wozniacki's practice session together this week at Rome:

The 28-year-old Wozniacki, who has rheumatoid arthritis, has had an illness and injury-interrupted season, including a back injury this week at Madrid.

Wozniacki also reached the final at Charleston.
